What is a relationship? That’s actually a simple question to answer, but for some reason we (society as a whole) deem the word relationship to mean something romantic. The word actually just means the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.

So everyone and everything we talk to, behave toward, or deal with we are in RELATIONSHIP with. In all of our relationships we exhibit patterns of behavior. But how helpful, harmful, or just plain confusing are these patterns. We need to first realize and vocalize the patterns in our relationships in order to improve our relationships.

In the video by Michael Puett, Having Career or Relationship Anxiety? Change Your Patterns, Not Yourself, he breaks it down for us in a way that I can honestly say I have never realized before and I’m sure I’m not the only one that hasn’t.
